Students may think every economy fits one pure type. They may assume any tax or regulation makes an economy command-based. They also confuse what to produce with how goods are produced.

How to Assess It

Use this exit ticket: “Australia has private businesses, consumer choice, taxes, and business regulations.” Explain why it is mixed and place it on the market-command continuum.
