Planning that feels natural
Lesson Maker Pro helps teachers plan their lessons, organize their week, and build the materials that go with them. It exists because day-to-day planning is where teachers, especially new ones, often benefit from a little extra support.
Meet the founder
A middle school teacher at heart

Hi, I'm Matt. I spent over a decade in the classroom, getting my start as a 4th grade teacher before launching a 3rd-8th grade STEAM program in Morris Plains, New Jersey. In 2019 I moved to California and joined the founding team of High Tech Middle Mesa, a project-based school in San Diego, where I taught 7th grade. Today I mentor new teachers there, and I also build software as a full-stack engineer. I earned my Masters in Education Leadership from the High Tech High Graduate School of Education in 2026.
Lesson Maker Pro started in those mentoring sessions. The teachers I coach know their content, plan incredible projects, and care deeply about their students. Where they often want additional support is the day to day: figuring out what tomorrow looks like, keeping the week organized, and doing it all without feeling like planning has taken over their lives. I went looking for a tool I could share with them. Nothing out there quite fit, so I made one.
It's built on a simple idea: you make the teaching decisions, and it helps you carry them out. You decide what you're teaching and how you want to teach it. Lesson Maker Pro helps you map out the week, draft the plan, and build the materials that go with it. You review, edit, and make it your own.
If you have any feedback, please share it with me at: matt@lessonmakerpro.com. All of the best features and improvements come directly from teachers like you using it in their classrooms.
