Common Misconceptions: Students may add decorative details that do not explain the topic. They may leave maps unlabeled, copy facts without organizing them, or choose a format that does not fit the idea.
How to Assess It: Give students one fact about a local community and ask them to explain it with a labeled picture or simple organizer. Check for accuracy and clear details.
