SSKCG1 is a Georgia social studies standard. These are the elements under it.

Teacher's field guide

What Students Need to Do: Students identify actions that show responsibility, fairness, respect, and care for others. They explain why people follow rules and how their choices affect the classroom and community.
What Mastery Looks Like: Students can sort examples and nonexamples of good citizenship and explain each choice. They can name one way to help at school, at home, or in the community.
Common Misconceptions: Students may think good citizenship only means being quiet or obeying adults. They may believe only leaders can help a community or that rules apply only at school.
How to Assess It: Show a picture of a child leaving trash on a playground. Ask, “What should the child do, and how would that help the community?”

Lesson moves

Give pairs picture cards showing sharing, littering, waiting turns, and breaking rules, then have them sort the cards and explain their choices.
Read a short classroom problem and ask, “What would a good citizen do, and why?”
Play Good Citizen Charades, with students acting out taking turns, helping, following rules, and caring for shared materials.
Take a school walk to spot one shared space students can care for, then complete one helpful action together.
