Common Misconceptions
- Students may treat company revenue or popularity as proof of statewide impact. They may confuse a company founded in Georgia with one merely operating there, or assume every effect is positive.
How to Assess It
- Exit ticket: Choose Coca-Cola, Delta, Georgia-Pacific, Home Depot, or UPS. Write one cause-and-effect chain showing its impact on Georgia, then explain why that impact matters.
