What Students Need to Do
- Students name their abilities, interests, and future goals. They explain how each factor can guide them toward careers that fit.
What Mastery Looks Like
- Students can distinguish a talent from an interest or aspiration. They can compare career options and support a choice with specific personal evidence.
Common Misconceptions
- Students may think enjoying an activity means they are already skilled at it. They may see talents as fixed or choose careers based only on salary and status.
How to Assess It
- Give an exit ticket asking students to name one career and explain how one talent, one interest, and one future goal support that choice.
