- Students express thoughts, feelings, and ideas clearly and adapt language to context. They consider audience, purpose, and setting.
What Mastery Looks Like
- The student states an idea clearly and changes words, tone, or detail for a partner, group, or formal sharing. Meaning remains consistent.
Common Misconceptions
- Students may use one style everywhere. They may change volume but not wording or explanation.
How to Assess It
- Give one idea and two contexts, partner talk and class presentation. Ask students to express it appropriately in each.
