What Students Need to Do
- Students identify goods made or grown in Georgia after the Civil War, such as cotton, corn, lumber, and textiles. They name services and explain how sharecroppers and tenant farmers produced crops for landowners and markets.

- Students can sort examples as goods, services, sharecropping, or tenant farming. They can explain that tenant farmers usually supplied more of their own tools and kept a larger crop share than sharecroppers.
