Lesson moves

Give groups three document title cards and nine purpose cards to sort, then ask them to explain each placement.
Ask students to write: Which founding document would you choose to protect free speech, and why?
Play three corners, with one document assigned to each corner, then read purpose clues for students to match.
Compare a school handbook with the Constitution and Bill of Rights, noting how each sets rules and addresses people's protections.
