What Mastery Looks Like
- A student waits for a clear turn, listens without interrupting, and speaks so the group can hear. The student shares a related idea and responds to classmates.
Common Misconceptions
- Students may think taking a turn means speaking whenever they have an idea. They may interrupt, talk over others, or stay silent because they do not know when to join.
How to Assess It
- Ask groups of three, “What is the best playground game, and why?” Check whether each student waits, listens, and shares one related idea.
