What Students Need to Do
- Students tell where borrowed facts, images, and ideas came from when sharing research. They name the book, article, or website using a teacher-provided format.
What Mastery Looks Like
- A student connects each borrowed fact or image to the correct source. They record the title and author, or other source details, using the class format.
Common Misconceptions
- Students may name Google instead of the book, article, or website they used. They may list sources at the end but not show which source supports each fact.
How to Assess It
- Give students a short article with a title and author. Ask them to write one fact from it and name the source.
