- Students create or use visual displays to support descriptions. The visual helps show details that spoken words mention.
What Mastery Looks Like
- The student selects or makes a relevant drawing, picture, or display and points to features while describing. The visual and words agree.
Common Misconceptions
- Students may choose a favorite image unrelated to the description. They may show the visual without connecting it to spoken details.
How to Assess It
- Ask the student to describe a familiar place using a drawing or existing picture and point to three matching details.
