What This Standard Means
What Students Need to Do
- Students develop topics with relevant, sufficient facts, definitions, details, quotations, paraphrases, and examples suited to audience knowledge. They add formatting, graphics, or multimedia when useful.

Common Misconceptions
- Students may equate more evidence with sufficient development. They may quote without analysis, paraphrase too closely, or add graphics that do not clarify.
