- The report has a clear central idea, logical sequence, and well-chosen support. Delivery allows the intended audience to follow and understand.
Common Misconceptions
- Students may list facts without organizing them around a central idea. They may rush, speak softly, or add descriptive details unrelated to the topic.
How to Assess It
- Ask students to deliver a two-minute report with a central idea, three logically ordered facts, and one descriptive detail. Score clarity, pace, and volume.
