Lesson Maker Pro vs Eduaide.Ai
We planned the same lesson in both, on the free plans, and put what came back side by side. Eduaide is a large set of single-purpose generators that feed a document editor; Lesson Maker Pro is a lesson-planning workspace that produces the whole lesson, with slides and materials that match it. Written by the Lesson Maker Pro team.
Choose Lesson Maker Pro if...
- You want one request to return the whole lesson: the timed plan, a slide deck, worksheets, an assessment, and a teacher guide, all built on the same scenario and vocabulary.
- You teach from slides and want a finished deck with images and speaker notes, not an outline to build from.
- You plan by the week and want lessons on a planning board you can push forward when a day is lost.
- You want students to play a real activity, with puzzles and progress, from a join code and no accounts.
Choose Eduaide if...
- You want to choose the lesson structure yourself from 11 named models, including 5E, Understanding by Design, Madeline Hunter, and Gagné.
- You want a dedicated assessment builder with blueprints, question-type controls, and cognitive-demand settings.
- You like building each resource one at a time, from a long menu that includes a dozen classroom games, and refining it in a document editor.
- Price matters most: Eduaide Pro is $5.99 a month, or $49.99 a year.

- Grade
- 6th grade, Math
- Topic
- Unit rates in context
- Standard
- CCSS 6.RP.A.2
- Plans
- Free plans
Lesson Maker Pro: the free generator, opened from our 6.RP.A.2 guide, which pre-fills the standard; everything shown is included on the free plan. Eduaide: its 5E Lesson Plan, Slides Outline, and Short Answer Worksheet tools, each given the topic and 6th grade, with the standard added from its standards browser for the plan.
The plan
Lesson Maker Pro A 50-minute lesson with a timed sequence, aligned to 6.RP.A.2. The slides, worksheet, exit slip, and teacher guide it calls for were generated with it, below.
Eduaide The 5E Lesson Plan tool with the same topic, standard, and grade: a five-phase sequence paced at 45, 60, 45, 60, and 45 minutes, five class sessions in all. It asks the teacher to provide the market price tags, price lists, a data sheet, model tracker worksheets, and the quiz.
Theirs is a thoughtful 5E sequence for a week. Ours is one class period you could teach tomorrow, with the pieces it names already made.
The slides
Lesson Maker Pro 12 slides generated from the lesson, with worked examples, drawn models, and speaker notes, downloadable as PowerPoint or PDF. Slide 4.
Eduaide The Slides Outline tool with the same topic and grade: eight slides described in text, each with a title, a description of a visual to make, and speaker notes. There is no slide file; it exports as PDF, Word, or a Google Doc. Its example is cereal prices, not the plan’s farmer’s market.
This is the widest gap we found. One is a deck you can present; the other is directions for building one.
The materials
Lesson Maker Pro Generated with the plan, no extra prompt: a partner worksheet that has students write each ratio, divide, and explain the rate per one with units, plus an exit slip and a teacher guide.
Eduaide The Short Answer Worksheet tool with the same topic and grade: twelve unit-rate questions (miles per hour, flour per cookie, students per teacher) and a short teacher guide, with no answer key. It has not seen the plan’s farmer’s market. (You could paste the plan into it; we gave both tools the same topic.)
Theirs is a reasonable practice set about unit rates. Ours is the practice for this lesson, because the plan, the slides, and the worksheet came from the same place.
Feature by feature
Shaded cell: the stronger offering, in our judgment. Unshaded rows are a wash or a different kind of thing.

Common questions
- Is Lesson Maker Pro a good Eduaide alternative?
- For planning a whole lesson, yes. One request in Lesson Maker Pro returns the timed plan with its slide deck, worksheets, assessment, and teacher guide, all built from the same lesson, and its assistant remembers what you were working on and learns how you teach. Eduaide is stronger if you want to choose the lesson model yourself, build an assessment from a blueprint, or generate classroom games one at a time, and it costs less.
- Which is better for making slides?
- Lesson Maker Pro. Every lesson comes with a slide deck, with images and speaker notes, that you can present in the browser or download as PowerPoint or Google Slides. Eduaide's slide tool writes a text outline of the slides; building the deck is left to you.
- Which costs less?
- Eduaide. Its Pro plan is $5.99 a month or $49.99 a year; Lesson Maker Pro's is $9.99 a month. On the free plans, Eduaide gives 24 generation credits a month (a lesson plan uses 3), and Lesson Maker Pro gives 5 full lessons, each with its slides and materials, plus 10 more materials and 25 assistant messages.
